Principals
Our principals are invested in the Tampa Bay community, and own approximately 65% of the company.
Kathleen J. Belmonte, CTFA, AEP®
Kathy Belmonte serves the community through her work as a board member for SERVE – Volunteers in Education and The Saunders Foundation. She also sits on the Planned Giving/Professional Advisory Committees for the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, Hillsborough Education Foundation and the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay. Kathy is a Past President and member of the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council and serves on the Boards of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils and Volunteer Services of the United Way of Tampa Bay. Mrs. Belmonte serves on the Education Committee of the Trust Division of the Florida Bankers Association. She is active in community volunteer work through Hands on Tampa Bay. Kathy is a graduate of Florida Trust School and holds the designations of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, and Accredited Estate Planner®. Kathy brings more than a quarter of a century of trust administration and investment experience to her clients.
Heather R. Boone, CFA
Heather Boone enjoys giving back to the community through her donations to the University Of Miami School of Business where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Economics. In addition, she spends her time benefiting this school's Alumni Association. Locally, Heather is a member of CFA Tampa Bay and participates in the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Emerge Tampa program and Small Business of the Year committees. Mrs. Boone continues to look for opportunities to better the Tampa Bay community. She is a graduate of the Florida Trust School.
Rose M. Cruz
Rose Cruz is committed to the Ocala community serving as the Estate Planning Council of Marion County’s Treasurer. Additionally, she is involved in The Villages lifestyle through teaching various courses at The Villages Lifelong Learning College and is a member of the Rotary Club. Rose was also involved on the Finance Committee at St. Theresa Catholic Church for many years. A graduate of Mercy College in New York Rose is also a graduate of Florida Bankers Association Trust School. She has nearly twenty years of experience in trust administration and investment management.
Ward J. Curtis, Jr.
Ward Curtis is firmly invested in the community. He has served on the Board of All Children’s Hospital, American Stage Theater, The Arts Center, The Children’s Dream Fund and a number of other local charities. He offers more than a quarter century experience in investment management and trust services. Mr. Curtis received a BSBA and an MBA from the University of Central Florida and is a member of the college’s Business Hall of Fame. He is also a graduate of the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College. He serves as the President and CEO of the Company.
Gary W. Davis
Gary Davis enjoys an active lifestyle through volunteer activities with The Rotary Club of The Villages and The Planned Giving Committee of The American Cancer Society. He is the chairman of the Business Committee for The Villages Hospital Gala. Additionally, Gary is a member of New Covenant United Methodist Church and is a Trustee of the Florida United Methodist Foundation. A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a BA and MBA, Gary has more than 30 years of experience in investment management and trust management.
Lucas DeVicente, CFP®
Lucas DeVicente is a fifth generation resident of St. Petersburg and is deeply committed to the community. He serves on the Boy Scouts of America Skyway District Finance Committee and the Boy Scouts Distinguished Citizens Award Committee. He is an active board member of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce's Young Professionals Committee and an active volunteer with the Mayor's Mentors program. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the St. Petersburg Museum of History. Mr. DeVicente received his BS in Business and his Master's in International Business from the University of Florida. Mr. DeVicente is a holder of the Certified Financial PlannerTM designation and a graduate of the Florida Banker's Association Trust School.
Kimberly A. Early
Kim Early has committed her personal time to her church and to youth activities. She serves as the President of the Home & School Association at St. Raphael Catholic School as well as being part of the school board. Mrs. Early also devotes her time to CASA as a trustee and chairman of the planned giving committee. She provides more than a decade of experience in investment management. Mrs. Early received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida and is a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.
William A. Eickhoff, CFA
Bill Eickhoff serves on a number of local Boards of Directors, including the University of South Florida Foundation, the Sun'n Fun Aviation Foundation and The Florida Air Museum Inc. In the past, he has given of his time as a director of the Experimental Aircraft Association, The Children's Home Society, St. Anthony's Hospital and the USF Alumni Association. As a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute he offers more than a quarter century of investment experience to his clients. Mr. Eickoff received a BSBA an MBA from the University of South Florida.
Laurence R. Fasan
Larry Fasan serves the community through his work on the All Children's Hospital Foundation, Planned Giving Committee. He also serves on the Planned Giving Committee for the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, is a member of the Suncoast Estate Planning Council, and is an Advisory Board Member for the Salvation Army of South Pinellas County. He received a BA from Michigan State University and is a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. He offers a quarter century experience in trust administration and investment management.
Charles H. Kard, CFA
Charles Kard, a lifelong resident of St. Petersburg, Florida, is deeply committed to the Tampa Bay community. He supports child abuse prevention and other causes through his involvement in the Exchange Club of St. Petersburg, where he currently serves as President. Mr. Kard is a member of CFA Tampa Bay and is an active member and Past President and Finance Chairman of his church. Mr. Kard graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has over a decade of experience in investment management.
Elizabeth J. Knowles
Beth Knowles is committed to the community, giving her personal time and professional expertise to a variety of organizations. She serves on the St. Petersburg College Foundation Board of Trustees. She is a member of Business & Professional Women / St. Petersburg - Pinellas, and is on the Board of Directors of the Florida United Methodist Foundation. Ms. Knowles received a BA from the University of South Florida and completed National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. She offers more than 30 years of experience in trust administration and investment management.
Ronald E. Koepsel, JD, CTFA
Ron Koepsel enjoys giving back to the community through his volunteer activities with All Children’s Hospital Foundation as a Board Member, as well as his work with The Community Foundation of Sarasota County, the Advisory Board for The NonProfit Resource Center and The SW Florida Planned Giving Council Advisory Board. Mr. Koepsel received a BA from Indiana University, a JD from Northern Illinois University and is a licensed attorney in Illinois and Florida. Ron also holds a Certified Trust and Financial Services Advisor (CTFA) designation and is a member of both the Sarasota County Bar Association and the SW Florida Estate Planning Council. Mr. Koepsel offers over 25 years of experience in trust administration and estate and financial planning.
Michael E. Longworth - Principal
Michael is a Principal with Sabal Trust Company. Mr. Longworth serves the greater Sarasota community through his work with a variety of charitable causes. Currently, he serves on the Board of Governors of Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation, the Board of the Sarasota Ballet and the Manatee Community Foundation's Legacy Society Committee. He is a past Community Board Director for the Trinity YMCA and served as Co-Chairman of their Endowment Committee. He also has served as a Board Member of the Pasco-Hernando Community College Foundation and as a Financial Advisory Member of the Morton Plant Mease Hospital Foundation. Michael holds a BS in Accounting from Branell College and attended the Executive Leadership Program through Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. He has completed the Certified Financial Planner curriculum and is enrolled in the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor program through the College for Financial Planning. Mr. Longworth brings more than twenty years of experience in investment management and trust administration to our firm. Michael is a Florida native and resides in the Lakewood Ranch community with his wife and daughter.
Jennifer McClintic, CFA
Jennifer serves the community through her commitment to St. Anthony's Hospital where she is a lifetime member of the Auxiliary and serves on the Board of Trustees of St. Anthony's Hospital Foundation. She is also a trustee for American Stage, a professional theatre in St. Petersburg, and serves on the Board of Directors of CFA Tampa Bay. Jennifer received her bachelor's degree from Eckerd College and earned her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Tampa. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, is a member of the CFA Institute, and is a graduate of the ABA National Trust School.
Susan S. Mittermayr
Susan Mittermayr has generously invested herself in local business and community organizations. She serves on the Board of Suncoast Estate Planning Council, the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg and is an active member and Past President of the Rotary Club of St. Petersburg. Mrs. Mittermayr's experience in investment management spans more than two decades. She received a BA from Erskine College and is a graduate of the Florida Graduate Trust School. Mrs. Mittermayr has also attended the Executive Education program at the Darden School of Business.
G. Lowe Morrison, CFA
Lowe Morrison is committed to improving the communities and environment along his native west coast of Florida. He is a Trustee of the Frank E. Duckwall Foundation , a member of the Board of Trustees of Mote Marine Laboratory and on the Advisory Council of Tampa Bay Watch. Lowe is the Treasurer of the Sarasota Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association. As a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the CFA Institute, Lowe has over 25 years of investment management. Mr. Morrison received a BS from the University of South Florida.
G. Bruce Mullin, CFA, CFP®
Bruce Mullin proudly served our country while in the United States Marine Corps. More locally, Mr. Mullin is deeply committed to helping medically challenged children and adults through volunteering at the Easter Seals of Southwest Florida Inc. Bruce is also active in improving the lives of local youth through volunteering for the Boy Scouts of America and Junior Achievement. Mr. Mullin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Stetson University and an MBA from the University of South Florida. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of CFA Tampa Bay Society. Bruce has also earned a Certified Financial Planner designation.
Scott L. Pieper, CFA
Scott Pieper is involved in a variety of charitable and philanthropic organizations throughout the Tampa Bay area. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Conn Memorial Foundation. Mr. Pieper is a member of the CFA Institute and a Past President of CFA Tampa Bay. He received a BA from Lehigh University, an MBA from the University of South Florida and attended the Executive Education program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Mr. Pieper is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a graduate of the ABA National Trust School.
Beth W. Rowe
Beth Rowe serves the community through her commitment to several organizations, including Children's Home Society of Florida and Bayfront Medical Center. She is also a member of the Pinellas County Estate Planning Council. Ms. Rowe continues to look for opportunities to better the Tampa Bay community. Beth has over a decade of investment management experience that she brings to the organization. Ms. Rowe received her BS degree from Adelphi University in New York, is a Chartered Financial Planner candidate and is currently enrolled in Florida Trust School.
