A subsidiary of the privately held Reliance Financial Corporation, Reliance Trust Company, located in Atlanta Georgia, is the largest independent trust company in the United States with over $80 billion in client assets. Founded in 1975 Reliance Trust Company is a leading provider of financial services to trust companies, corporate and institutional clients and individuals. Reliance has provided data processing, operations support and custody services to Sabal since 1993. Sabal Trust and Reliance Trust own small minority positions (less than 5%) in each other.

Attorneys and CPAs
Sabal maintains strong relationships with many attorneys and CPAs in the greater Tampa Bay area. Currently, over 40 firms have retained Sabal Trust Company to provide data processing, asset custody, bill paying, operations support and related services on a wholesale basis for their trust, estate, agency and guardianship clients. These services are delivered directly through the firm to their clients using Sabal's internet based Fiduciary Support Services.
Outside Investment Managers
Sabal has relationships with a number of nationally recognized, specialty investment management firms to provide investment management services to Sabal Trust Company clients where appropriate. In addition to rigorous selection criteria, Sabal continuously monitors and reviews these managers for adherence to their style disciplines, performance and other critical factors. Specialty styles offered include International, Value, Mid-Cap, and Small-Cap.
